Actor Katherine Heigl is opening up about how she was born into the "white bubble" and how the realization has affected how she parents her adopted multiracial children. In an interview, the "Firefly Lane", as well as "Grey's Anatomy" actress shared her looks didn't bother her. But after talking to her adoptive sister in South Korea about how society was treating them, she became conscious of the differences they were. I asked Meg whether, while she was out with her parents she got a particular treatment and when out alone, she got a completely different one. Meg said, 'Oh yes, I've seen it all I've seen it all! Heigl told parents: "That was when I realized that my naivety had resulted in me feeling." The singer became angry at the time, and chose to use that anger to assist her daughters who were adopted by her. Heigl has a four-year old son who is married to her 13 year old spouse, Josh Kelley. They took in Nancy Leigh (age 12) from South Korea and Adalaide (age 8) and is black and was adopted in 2009.
