Allison Brooks Janney (born April 14th on the 14th of April, 1970) is an American actor. Her performances on stage and screen have won her many prizes, such as the Academy Award for Best Actress and the British Academy Film Award for Best Film and the Golden Globe Award for Outstanding Film, and seven Primetime Emmy Awards for Primetime Emmy Awards for Primetime Emmy Awards for Primetime Emmy Awards for Primetime Emmy Awards for Primetime Emmy Awards and nominations to the Tony Awards. Allison Janney was a regional actress for nearly twenty years before she became well known as White House Press secretary C.J. Gregg was a leading character in The West Wing. It wasn't something she made consciously. Janney wears a wig throughout her time on the show from the start. The producers didn't need to be concerned. Fallon stated, "So, now everybody is aware that Janney has been sporting the wig for her show since it began. Janney is planning to keep her wig to preserve to keep as a souvenir. In the first season, it was reported that she was earning as much as $125,000 per episode. It is estimated that at the end of the third and fourth season, Faris and the fellow co-star Allison Janey were earning $200,000 per episode.
