Allison Brooks Janney (born April 14th on the 14th of April, 1970) is an American actor. Her performances on stage and screen have won her many prizes, such as the Academy Award for Best Actress and the British Academy Film Award for Best Film and the Golden Globe Award for Outstanding Film, and seven Primetime Emmy Awards for Primetime Emmy Awards for Primetime Emmy Awards for Primetime Emmy Awards for Primetime Emmy Awards for Primetime Emmy Awards and nominations to the Tony Awards. Allison Janney was a regional actress for nearly twenty years before she became well known as White House Press secretary C.J. Gregg was a leading character in The West Wing. Allison Janney was always a late to the party. She took a whole year more than her Ohio classmates to earn a driving license. Her first date was not until after she started the university. Despite auditioning as early as age 23, she was only on the screen until her late 30s. Since stepping away from Mom in 2020, Faris has been very specific about the roles she plays, mostly performing in animated films, with the exception from 2022's The Estate. According to Faris specifically tells PEOPLE this wasn't a conscious choice she had made. Anna Faris left her popular CBS sitcom, Mom, before the eighth season's final episode. Faris stated in the beginning that she'd be resigning from the show to look for different career options. In the present, Faris is opening up about her reasons for making the decision. It wasn't something she made consciously. Janney wears a wig throughout her time on the show from the start. The producers didn't need to be concerned. Fallon stated, "So, now everybody is aware that Janney has been sporting the wig for her show since it began. Janney is planning to keep her wig to preserve to keep as a souvenir. In the first season, it was reported that she was earning as much as $125,000 per episode. It is estimated that at the end of the third and fourth season, Faris and the fellow co-star Allison Janey were earning $200,000 per episode.
