Angela Watson

Angela Christine Watson is an American model and actress. She was best known for her role as Karen Foster, the daughter of Carol Foster Lambert's character Suzanne Somers in the American sitcom Step by Step. Angela Watson is National Board Certified and holds a degree in Curriculum and Instruction. She's had more than a decade of experience as instructor coaches and has 11 years experience as a teacher. Angela started this site as a young teacher in 2003. She wanted to share useful teaching ideas for teachers and to help fellow teachers develop a positive attitude so they can truly be happy in their job. The website was titled Ms. Powell's management ideas for teachers from 2003 until 2008. Then, it was renamed The Cornerstone for Teachers, following the release the book. Angela Powell's work on productivity and professional development is now being used at over 45,000 public schools in the United States via her 40-Hour Workweek initiative. Initially designed for educators, 40 Hour was then expanded to include instructional coaches as well as administrative staff. It helps teachers be more mindful of their contract schedule and their instruction, so they can concentrate on what matters.
